hey there, I assume you are interested in me because you clicked on my profile. Thanks for being interested in some random person on the internet!
We all love games here right? Playing them, then being inspired by them. Then trying to make our own!
I used to dream about joining the games industry, only to realize that there's only like 100 studios in the world that are profitable, and that tons of people have the same idea! 😂 So I've just kept it as a hobby ever since.
I work as a programmer by day but I'm not a big fan of the job (it has nothing to do with games and is literally the definition of corporate soul draining job 😢)
I currently dont have any friends who also love games, but I think having other game developer friends would be the coolest thing ever!
My dream is to form make friends with other people who love games and also dream of making games. Then, we can work together on them. And in doing so, get to know each other better as well!
Also: I have no social media 😔 except for discord, so please reach me there! My username is rma9919
I think its very important to share what games I am inspired by. After all, we are all developers today, because we were inspired a game that spoke to us. If you loved any of the games below, please let me know because I think we'd get along instantly just off of that shared passion! I could talk for days about any of these games. Also I probably forgot some games.. but I tried to include as much as I could!
I made a google doc with all my favorite games which you can read through. If you want to know what kind of things inspire me, please check it out!

Most of the games in my list, you can probably tell have 1 thing in common. And that's a vast environment which you can get lost in.
What I mean is, characters that you cant bear to say goodbye to once the credits roll. I love asking myself the question: "what about a fictional character can draw us so close to them?" And trying to explore that boundary myself.
It doesnt need to be complex, but having a story that can drive the events of the game is something I hope to craft.
Things like
- factions, alliances
- lore of events that came before, and conflicts that are currently ongoing.
- Beef between characters
I love the little details that games can sprinkle in which make you feel like you are living in a real chaotic world.
